OK guys! I think some of you may remember this game… it’s awesome!
The 64 bit Mac OS X release would be named release-darwin-x8664.zip; Unzip the release.zip anywhere; Run the tremulous.exe from the unzipped release directory. When you run the tremulous.exe binary for the first time, it may go through a bootstrap (download needed assets, generate an RSA key) process which may take a few minutes. Tremulous is a free and open source team-based first-person shooter with real-time strategy elements. Discover Tremulous, it's features and functionalities. WINDOWS MAC LINUX WEB / CLOUD ANDROID IPHONE WINDOWS PHONE.
The wiki page about it is pretty short, but here it is: (I think you could guess it pretty easily anyway) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/tremulous/ I think you have to copy paste or just search it in wikipedia: tremulous
The game, like I said, consists of joining a server (there are approx 4 when I’m on: I reccomend “EDGE” because there are unique plugins like a human slime sucker thing which is awesome when you put on the roof and a Tesla Generator, an eletric tower which pwns Dretches in 1 go. Once on a server, you choose a team. With humans, your aim is to first when game starts, choose construction kit and build loads. Then when sudden death starts (build an armoury before!) you can use all your credits on it, sell your weapon (rifle or construction kit) and buy something like a chaingun and a battlesuit. Don’t forget to build loads of Telenodes, because the aliens have the same goals but your “egg” is the Telenode. Ok, once you are decked out with badass stuff you try finding all the eggs because the aliens spawn from them. No eggs in sudden death means you have to kill all left aliens and win. But the aliens do the same: no telenodes, no spawning. means you cant enter the battle. The aliens don’t have armouries, but they have evolve points. The more points you use the better the evolution. Here’s the grade:

Tremulous For Macular Degeneration
The achievements in the game allow the aliens to evolve and leave the initial classes: Granger and Dretch. Each annihilation gives humans a number of credits that can be exchanged for weapons and equipment.
One of the main features of Tremulous is the ability to build various structures during the game. There is a total of sixteen, with each serving a specific function (defensive or offensive) and will differ according to species.
Among the alien structures it is easy to find traps and elements to obstruct the passage. The humans are a bit more complex and designed to provide various services: armory, coordinate actions of defensive weapons, heal, and so on.
